SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Cheryl Ann Ross of Waukegan, who passed away on August 5, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Cheryl Ross was born in Chicago on January 29, 1955 and was a longtime area resident; and

WHEREAS, Cheryl Ross formerly worked at the Mathews Employment Agency; for the last 18 years, she worked at HR Advantage; and

WHEREAS, Cheryl Ross was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Parish in Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, Cheryl Ross was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ross; her father, John Sherman; and her brother-in-law, Ed Ross; and

WHEREAS, Cheryl Ross is survived by her daughter, Katie Ross; her grandson, Marvin Ross; her mother-in-law, Lois Ross Burkett; her brothers, Peter and Nick Sherman; and numerous nieces, nephew, and dear friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Cheryl Ann Ross, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Cheryl Ross as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
