SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Noel C. Boretti of Glenview, who passed away on July 24, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Noel Boretti served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and recently took part in an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.; and

WHEREAS, Noel Boretti started the youth hockey league in Glenview and was active with the men's softball league; he was also an active member and volunteer with the Glenview Senior Center; he was an avid Chicago Bears fan; and

WHEREAS, Noel Boretti was the beloved husband of 25 years of Therese (Lynch) Boretti; the loving father of Dave (Sandy), Rick (Andrea), and Marion (Steve) Quigley; and the cherished grandfather of Nick, Tess, and Ryland Boretti and Kellen and Connor Quigley; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Noel C. Boretti, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Noel Boretti as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
