SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mary Lou Martin of Gurnee, who passed
4away on September 14, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Martin was born in Waukegan to Paul and
6Caroline Verenski on February 1, 1942; she attended Holy Rosary
7Grade School and graduated from North Chicago High School in
81959; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Martin began working at Ammco Tools after
10graduation; she retired from there in 1995; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Martin enjoyed card making, knitting,
12crocheting, counted cross stitch, reading, camping, boating,
13traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren; she
14especially enjoyed traveling with her grandchildren; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Martin was preceded in death by her
16parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elmer and Sue
17Martin; and her brother-in-law, Elmer; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Martin is survived by her husband,
19Dennis; her son, Jeffery (Paula); her stepsons, Dean (Julie)
20and Dale (Jean); her grandchildren, Zackery, Megan, and Joseph;

1her step-grandchildren, Heather, Nikki, and Morgan; her
2step-great-grandchildren, Brantley and Westyn; her sister,
3Dorothy (Ray) Shebesta; her brother, Paul (Paula) Verenski; and
4her many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Mary Lou Martin, and extend our sincere condolences to her
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Mary Lou Martin as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
