SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Caitlin Janelle Brockway of Washington, who passed away on October 7, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Caitlin Brockway was born in Peoria to Sheri L. Brockway and Robert M. Huskey on April 18, 1991; and

WHEREAS, Caitlin Brockway worked in Administration for UnityPoint Health-Methodist and Proctor Hospitals in Peoria; she previously worked for Taco Johns; and

WHEREAS, Caitlin Brockway was a member of BridgeWay Community Church in Pekin; she enjoyed Anime and often attended Anime conventions; her children were her world, heart, and soul, and she loved them dearly; she enjoyed arts and crafts with them and taking them on special little trips; and

WHEREAS, Caitlin Brockway was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Howard L. Brockway and Priscilla Brockway; and

WHEREAS, Caitlin Brockway is survived by her parents; her son, Carrick S. Kelley; her daughter, Callen H. Kelley; her ex-husband, Joseph Kelley II; her brother, Ryan A. Closen; her sister, Jordan Huskey; her paternal grandparents, Jan (Terry) Graham and Robert T. Huskey; her aunts, Brittany (Josh) Beeney and Annie (Alex) Friedrichsen; her uncle, Jacob (Deborah) Graham; her nephew, Landon E. Smith; and her many cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Caitlin Janelle Brockway and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Caitlin Brockway as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
