SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Thomas Eugene "Tom" Nalley of Bloomington, who passed away on June 15, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Tom Nalley was born to Joseph and Marilyn Nalley on May 4, 1951; he served in the U.S. Navy as a firefighter; and

WHEREAS, Tom Nalley retired from Eureka Williams and Nestle-Beich; and

WHEREAS, His entire life, Tom Nalley enjoyed hunting and fishing; and

WHEREAS, Tom Nalley was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; one sister; three nephews; and a niece; and

WHEREAS, Tom Nalley is survived by his children, Shelly Ann Nalley and Shawn E. Nalley; his sisters, Sharon Frost (Joseph) and Leah Reynolds (Tad); his grandchildren, Eric (Sarah), Cody, and Jamie Vernon; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Thomas Eugene "Tom" Nalley and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Tom Nalley as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
