SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lorene Mary George-Baskin of Ingleside, who passed away on February 26, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Lorene George-Baskin was born in Normal to John and Ada George on July 27, 1955; and

WHEREAS, Lorene George-Baskin worked for NICASA in Round Lake for over 20 years; and

WHEREAS, Lorene George-Baskin enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with all of her pets; and

WHEREAS, Lorene George-Baskin was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Lorene George-Baskin is survived by her husband of 39 and a half years, Glen George-Baskin; her daughter, Leah (Jason) Sandri; her grandchildren, Harris Sandri and Ambrose Sandri; and her siblings, John (Judy) George, Paul (Norman) George, and Darlene Craig; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Lorene Mary George-Baskin and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lorene George-Baskin as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
