SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Henry J. Klinc of Springfield, who passed away on July 19, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Henry Klinc was born in Jenny Lind, Arkansas to Frank and Ann Mocivnik Klinc on October 24, 1933; he graduated from Lanphier High School in 1951 and served his country in the United States Army; he attended Coyne Technical School in Chicago and married Pat Bregowy at Sacred Heart Church in Springfield on October 18, 1958; and

WHEREAS, Henry Klinc began a career as an electrician at Sangamo Electric and retired from Dickey-John; and

WHEREAS, Henry Klinc enjoyed working in the yard and spending time with his grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Henry Klinc was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Frank, Pauline, Helen, and John Klinc and Mary Lazar; and

WHEREAS, Henry Klinc is survived by his wife, Pat Klinc; his children, Dennis (Renee) Klinc, Karen (Ron) Miller, and Alan (Connie) Klinc; his grandchildren, Seth, Luke, and Derek Miller and Maggie Klinc; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Henry J. Klinc and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Henry Klinc as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
