SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Terry Michael Anderson of Rock Island, who passed away on March 31, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Terry Anderson was born in Geneseo to Richard W. and Marcella Hubler Anderson on December 26, 1944; he graduated from AlWood High School in 1963 and married Peggy Johnson in Woodhull on September 4, 1965; he served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 to 1968; he later married Faye Moss Brody in Rock Island on April 29, 1989; and

WHEREAS, Terry Anderson worked most of his adult life as a Journeyman Electrician in the Quad-Cities area and was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 145 of Rock Island; and

WHEREAS, Terry Anderson was a member of the Trinity Anglican Church and became a Deacon in March 2019; he spent many hours volunteering at the church and enjoyed playing senior softball, wintering in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and spending time with family and friends; and

WHEREAS, Terry Anderson was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tim; and

WHEREAS, Terry Anderson is survived by his wife, Faye; his children, Keith Brody Jr., Kelli (Randy Schwab) Morland, Kristin (Darren) Wight, and Matthew (Kristy) Anderson; his grandchildren, Trysten Brody, Ellie, Ava, and Maya Wight, and Preston and Makenzie Anderson; his brothers, Dennis (Janice), Mark, and Rick (Marcy) Anderson; and his sister, Trudy (Kelly) Atchison; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Terry Michael Anderson and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Terry Anderson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
