SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Frank W. Gombos of Bunker Hill, who
4passed away on October 27, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Gombos was born in East Saint Louis to
6Andrew and Edith (Kassen) Gombos on March 23, 1957; he served
7in the U.S. Navy and married Rose Marie Randle in Worden on
8November 6, 1994; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Frank Gombos retired from the Olin Corporation,
10where he worked as an adjustor II; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Frank Gombos was a member of the Woodburn Bible
12Church and the Bunker Hill AA for 10 years; he enjoyed fishing,
13deer hunting, looking for mushrooms, camping, working with his
14hands, riding his Harley, and encouraging and helping other
15people; he also enjoyed teaching life skills to kids; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Frank Gombos was preceded in death by his parents;
17his son, Joshua Gombos; and his brother, Andrew Gombos; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Frank Gombos is survived by his wife, Rose Gombos;
19his children, Elizabeth, Alyse, and Andrew Gombos; his
20siblings, Larry (Hai) Gombos, Bert (Jeanette) Gombos, Margaret

1Gombos, and Andrea Glen Gutjahr; and several nieces, nephews,
2great-nieces, and great-nephews; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Frank W. Gombos and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Frank Gombos as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
