SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John Kellogg Gage III, who passed away on July 2, 2019 at the age of 48; and

WHEREAS, John Gage III was born on December 13, 2019 to Mary Jane and John K. Gage Jr. and grew up in Oak Park; and

WHEREAS, John Gage III was a proud graduate of St. Giles, Fenwick High School, and Marquette University; and

WHEREAS, John Gage III cherished his family and was an avid golfer and lover of animals; and

WHEREAS, John Gage III will be missed for his infectious personality and remembered for the wonderful times shared with friends and family; and

WHEREAS, John Gage III was preceded in death by his father, John K. Gage Jr.; and

WHEREAS, John Gage III is survived by his mother; his sister, Shannon (Greg) Hopp; his nephews, Ryan and Dan (Rachel); and his niece, Cori; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of John Kellogg Gage III and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Gage III as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
