SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Frances L. Bojniewicz, who passed away on
4December 7, 2019; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Frances Bojniewicz was born in Waukegan to Arthur
6and Frances Bittner on June 10, 1931; she attended Holy Family
7Catholic Grammar School and Holy Child High School; she married
8Frank C. Bojniewicz on August 20, 1949; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Frances Bojniewicz was employed at Westvaco in
10North Chicago; she was always baking and cooking for her
11coworkers; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Frances Bojniewicz was involved with the VFW and
13took the lead on many fundraising events, especially the Sunday
14morning bake sale; she enjoyed playing Yahtzee and cards with
15friends, cooking, and baking; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Frances Bojniewicz was preceded in death by her
17husband, Frank; her son, Nicholas; her parents; and her
18sons-in-law, George Rockwood and Gary Bennett; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Frances Bojniewicz is survived by her sister,
20Marilyn Carstens; her sister-in law, Marilyn Bittner; her

1children, Carol Endicott, Jean Rockwood, Mark Bojniewicz
2(Anne), Patricia Bennett, Barbara Zenner (Guy), Lillian Ebler
3(Mark), Diane Johnston (Biddy), Charles "Chuck" Bojniewicz,
4and Frank Bojniewicz; her grandchildren, Matthew and Benjamin
5Endicott, Christopher Gargala, Nicholas Finlay, Gary and Ryan
6Bennett, Jayne Weston, Maggie Bojniewicz, Mark C. Bojniewicz,
7Ashley Laffredi, Eric Zenner, Lacey and Joseph Ebler, and Alina
8Bojniewicz; 22 great-grandchildren; and five
9great-great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Frances L. Bojniewicz and extend our sincere condolences to her
13family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Frances Bojniewicz as an expression
17of our deepest sympathy.
