SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Frances L. Bojniewicz, who passed away on December 7, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Frances Bojniewicz was born in Waukegan to Arthur and Frances Bittner on June 10, 1931; she attended Holy Family Catholic Grammar School and Holy Child High School; she married Frank C. Bojniewicz on August 20, 1949; and

WHEREAS, Frances Bojniewicz was employed at Westvaco in North Chicago; she was always baking and cooking for her coworkers; and

WHEREAS, Frances Bojniewicz was involved with the VFW and took the lead on many fundraising events, especially the Sunday morning bake sale; she enjoyed playing Yahtzee and cards with friends, cooking, and baking; and

WHEREAS, Frances Bojniewicz was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her son, Nicholas; her parents; and her sons-in-law, George Rockwood and Gary Bennett; and

WHEREAS, Frances Bojniewicz is survived by her sister, Marilyn Carstens; her sister-in law, Marilyn Bittner; her children, Carol Endicott, Jean Rockwood, Mark Bojniewicz (Anne), Patricia Bennett, Barbara Zenner (Guy), Lillian Ebler (Mark), Diane Johnston (Biddy), Charles "Chuck" Bojniewicz, and Frank Bojniewicz; her grandchildren, Matthew and Benjamin Endicott, Christopher Gargala, Nicholas Finlay, Gary and Ryan Bennett, Jayne Weston, Maggie Bojniewicz, Mark C. Bojniewicz, Ashley Laffredi, Eric Zenner, Lacey and Joseph Ebler, and Alina Bojniewicz; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Frances L. Bojniewicz and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Frances Bojniewicz as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
