 1        AN ACT concerning finance.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  the State Finance Act is  amended  by  adding
 5    Section 8h as follows:

 6        (30 ILCS 105/8h new)
 7        Sec.  8h.  Transfers  between  the  Statistical  Services
 8    Revolving  Fund and the Illinois Military Family Relief Fund.
 9    The  State  Comptroller  shall  order  transferred  and   the
10    Treasurer  shall  transfer,  on  March 31, 2003 or as soon as
11    practicable thereafter,  the  amount  of  $300,000  from  the
12    Statistical  Services Revolving Fund to the Illinois Military
13    Family Relief Fund. Beginning on  July  1,  2004,  the  State
14    Comptroller  shall  order transferred and the Treasurer shall
15    transfer, on the last day of each month, an amount  equal  to
16    50%  of that day's beginning balance in the Illinois Military
17    Family Relief Fund from the Illinois Military  Family  Relief
18    Fund  to  the  Statistical  Services  Revolving  Fund.  These
19    transfers  shall  continue  until  the  cumulative  total  of
20    transfers  executed  from the Illinois Military Family Relief
21    Fund  to  the  Statistical  Services  Revolving  Fund  equals
22    $300,000.

23        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
24    becoming law.
