To the Honorable Members of the 94th General Assembly

Pursuant to Article IV, Section 9(b) of the Illinois Constitution of 1970, I hereby veto

Senate Bill 799, entitled “AN ACT concerning public employee benefits.” Senate Bill 799 would inappropriately provide special treatment to individuals by expanding the pension obligations of the municipal fund.

For this reason, I hereby veto and return Senate Bill 799.
