| AN ACT concerning public aid.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Nursing Home Grant Assistance Act is amended |
| 5 |
| by changing Section 10 as follows:
|

| (305 ILCS 40/10) (from Ch. 23, par. 7100-10)

| Sec. 10. Nursing Home Grant Assistance Program. There is
|
| 8 |
| created a grant grant assistance program to provide financial
|
| 9 |
| support for eligible individuals who reside in nursing homes
|
| 10 |
| and who do not have their
nursing home care paid for, in whole |
| 11 |
| or in part, by a
federal, State, or combined federal-State |
| 12 |
| medical care
program, except as provided in Section 15. The |
| 13 |
| program shall apply only to
State fiscal year 1993.
