HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to recognize Richard Doyle for his 
4lifetime of dedicated service to the citizens of the State of 
5Illinois; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Richard Doyle is a lifelong member of Chicago's 
7South Side community; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Richard Doyle is a graduate of Leo High School and 
9is an active alumnus at Leo; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Richard Doyle served his country with honor and 
11distinction as a member of the
United States Army during the 
12Vietnam War; he was later instrumental in honoring Vietnam War 
13veterans through his efforts in helping to organize the Vietnam 
14Veterans Welcome Home Parade in Chicago; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Richard Doyle continues to aid our country's 
16service members as President of the Windy City Veterans 
17organization; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Richard Doyle is a proud member of organized labor 
19and a retired member of Operating Engineers Local 150; and

1    WHEREAS, Richard Doyle aids the needy through his service 
2as President of the Father Perez Knights of Columbus; and
  
 
3    WHEREAS, Richard Doyle serves as a model of hard work, 
4integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
5Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
7NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
8recognize Richard Doyle for his lifetime of dedicated service 
9to the citizens of the State of Illinois and wish him great 
10success and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to Richard Doyle as a symbol of our esteem and 
13respect.
