| AN ACT concerning State government.
|
| 2 |
| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The General Assembly Organization Act is amended |
| 5 |
| by changing Section 3 as follows:
|
| 6 |

| Sec. 3.
The
The Secretary of the Senate and Clerk of the |

| House of
Representatives, at the close of each session of the |
| 9 |
| General Assembly,
shall deliver to the Secretary of State all |

| books, bills, documents and
papers in the possession of either |
| 11 |
| branch of the General Assembly,
correctly labeled, folded and |
| 12 |
| classified, according to the subject matter
of such documents |
| 13 |
| respectively; and the Secretary of State shall preserve
the |
| 14 |
| same in his office. |
