SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of M. Earlene Fuchs of Farmersville, who 
4passed away on December 28, 2010; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born December 20, 1928 in Springfield, the 
6daughter of Earl and Ella Visser Moody; she married Karl Fuchs 
7on January 7, 1951 in Farmersville; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran 
9Church (LCMS) and active in the Mary Martha Guild; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, She worked as a legal secretary for Fuchs/Bawden 
11Law Office for 33 years; she loved to sew and enjoyed making 
12clothing and craft items for her entire family; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents; her 
14sister, Bernice Fuchs; and her son-in-law, Rex Truebe; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, M. Earlene Fuchs is  survived by her husband; her 
16sister, Marjorie Gallert; her son, Dean (Mary Jane) Fuchs; her 
17daughters, Cheryl (Roger) Riney and Kim (Bill) Getchel; her 
18grandchildren, Carrie (Matt) Buchanan, Greta (Jered) Frankel, 
19Kristy (Greg) Hammann, Shannon (Brian) Swierczek, Ben (April) 
20Truebe, Kelly (Dustin) Brown, Jerrod (Emily) Fuchs, Adam

1Truebe, and Ashton Fuchs; her great-grandchildren; her 
2sisters-in-law, Mildred Brockmeyer and Elva (Tom) Thompson; 
3and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with 
6her family and friends, the passing of M. Earlene Fuchs; and be 
7it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to the family of M. Earlene Fuchs as a symbol of our 
10sincere sympathy.
