AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1155

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1155, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 27, on page 6, by inserting immediately below line 26 the following:

"Section 250-21. One firearm per license. Any person issued a license to carry under this Act shall only be permitted to carry one loaded, accessible firearm on his or her person at any time. A licensee may transport more than one firearm at a time if the additional firearm, other than the single firearm permitted to be loaded and accessible, is broken down in a non-functioning state, not immediately accessible, or is enclosed in a firearm carrying box, firearm case, or other similar portable container designed for the safe transfer of firearms.".
