AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1156




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1156 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 

 
4    "Section 1. This Act may be referred to as the Illinois 
5Assault Weapons Act. 
 

6    Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
