AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1531

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1531 as follows:

on page 1, line 13 after "State." by inserting "Upon the death of a person that has been issued U.S. Coast Guard license plates under this Section, that person's surviving spouse shall be entitled to retain the plates so long as the surviving spouse is a resident of Illinois and transfers the registration to his or her name within 90 days of their spouse's death.".
