1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 31
2     AMENDMENT NO. ___. Amend House Joint Resolution 31 by
3 replacing everything after the heading with the following:

4     "WHEREAS, The State Board of Education has filed its Report
5 on Waiver of School Code Mandates, dated October 1, 2013, with
6 the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Secretary of
7 State of Illinois as required by Section 2-3.25g of the School
8 Code; therefore, be it

9     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
10 NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
11 SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the General Assembly is
12 encouraged to promptly review and evaluate the Report and
13 determine whether to disapprove, in whole or in part, the
14 Report or any waiver request or appealed request outlined in
15 the Report.".
