HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Sean
4Patrick Sloe of Chicago, formerly of Springfield, who passed
5away on May 2, 2013; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Sean Sloe was born on September 9, 1975; his
7parents were Harold (Harry) and Lena Bohannon Sloe; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Sean Sloe was a 1993 graduate of Sacred Heart
9Griffin and earned his associate's degree from Lincoln Land
10Community College and a degree in fire science; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Sean Sloe served as a firefighter/paramedic in the
12City of Chicago and was assigned to Truck 55; he began his
13firefighting career with the Riverton Volunteer Fire
14Department; he also ran his own lawn service, Sloe Mowing; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Sean Sloe was a member of St. James Catholic
16Church in Riverton; he was also a lifetime member of the NRA
17and attended the Degerberg Academy of Martial Arts; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Sean Sloe was preceded in death by his father; his
19maternal grandparents, Bob and Beulah Bohannon; his paternal
20grandparents, Frank and Jessie Sloe; and his aunt, Mary Frances

1Sloe Moore; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Sean Sloe is survived by his mother, Lena Sloe;
3his stepfather, Tim Bandy; his brother, Michael Sloe; and his
4many aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
6NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
7we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of
8Sean Patrick Sloe; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Sean Sloe as an expression of our
11sympathy.
