1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3144
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3144 as follows:

3 on page 3, line 19, by replacing "A licensed truck stop
4 establishment may operate up to 10 video gaming terminals on
5 its premises at any time." with "A licensed truck stop
6 establishment that is located within 3 road miles from a
7 freeway interchange, as measured in accordance with the
8 Illinois Department of Transportation's rules regarding the
9 criteria for the installation of business signs, and that sells
10 at retail more than 50,000 gallons of diesel or biodiesel fuel
11 per month may operate up to 10 video gaming terminals on its
12 premises at any time. A licensed truck stop establishment may
13 meet the fuel sales requirement by showing that estimated
14 future sales or past sales average at least 50,000 gallons per
15 month. All other licensed truck stop establishments may operate
16 no more than 5 video gaming terminals at any time.".
