1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5781
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5781 on page 5,
3 immediately after line 3, by inserting the following:

4     "(g) Prior to disposal of any medication under this
5 Section, a State Police officer, police officer, coroner, or
6 medical examiner shall photograph the unused medication and its
7 container or packaging, if available; document the number or
8 amount of medication to be disposed; and include the
9 photographs and documentation in the police report, coroner
10 report, or medical examiner report.
11     (h) If an autopsy is performed as part of a death
12 investigation, no medication seized under this Section shall be
13 disposed of until after a toxicology report is received by the
14 entity requesting the report.".
