AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 156

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 156, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 1, on page 31, immediately below line 23, by inserting the following:

"Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person who receives an exemption under this Section may receive an exemption under Section 15-172 (senior citizens assessment freeze homestead exemption) or Section 15-177 (long-time occupant homestead exemption) for the same tax year."; and

on page 42, immediately below line 6, by inserting the following:

"Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person who receives an exemption under this Section may receive an exemption under Section 15-177 (long-time occupant homestead exemption) for the same tax year.".
