SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Paul R. Hollenbeck, who passed away on
4February 24, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Paul Hollenbeck attended Joliet East High School
6and Illinois Benedictine University; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Paul Hollenbeck founded his own CPA and tax firm;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, Paul Hollenbeck served on the board of the GW Buck
10Girls and Boys Club of Joliet; he was business advisor to the
11Church of St. Jude and a member of the Joliet School Board; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Paul Hollenbeck enjoyed coaching Little League
13Baseball at Whiteford for many years; he was an avid fan of the
14Chicago White Sox and a sports enthusiast; he loved baseball
15games, concerts, and traveling, but his greatest love was being
16a husband and dad; he was always there for family and friends;
17and
 
18    WHEREAS, Paul Hollenbeck was preceded in death by his
19parents, Harvey and Helen Hollenbeck; his mother-in-law,
20Benita De Leon; and his brother-in-law, Tony De Leon; and

1    WHEREAS, Paul Hollenbeck is survived by his wife of 33
2years, Juana; his son, Mike; his siblings, Ray (Ginger)
3Hollenbeck, Lynn (Rob) Bednar, and Gina (Scott) Filippelli; and
4numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Paul R. Hollenbeck and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Paul Hollenbeck as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
