SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Virgil Baldwin of Bloomington, who passed 
4away on April 8, 2020; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Virgil Baldwin was born in Hardin County to Virgil 
6and Verna (Belford) Baldwin on January 25, 1934; he married 
7Elva Alice "Tudi" Floyd on February 28, 1959, and she preceded 
8him in death on July 15, 2011; he served his country in the 
9Korean War and with the Army of Occupation in Berlin, Germany; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Virgil Baldwin was an avid golfer and hunter; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Virgil Baldwin is survived by his sons, Greg 
13(Alice) Baldwin and Jason (Jolene) Baldwin, and his 
14grandchildren, Steven Baldwin, Josie Baldwin, Hannah Baldwin, 
15Hunter Baldwin, and Holden Baldwin; therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL 
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
18Virgil Baldwin and extend our sincere condolences to his 
19family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

1    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
2presented to the family of Virgil Baldwin as an expression of 
3our deepest sympathy.
