Amends the Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act. Provides that during the pendency of a proclamation by the Governor declaring that a statewide disaster impacting every county exists, all local health departments shall report to and be directed by the Department of Public Health.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Emergency Management Agency Act is |
| 5 | | amended by adding Section 7.5 as follows:

| 6 | | (20 ILCS 3305/7.5 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 7.5. Disaster declaration; local health departments. |
| 8 | | During the pendency of a proclamation by the Governor |
| 9 | | declaring that a statewide disaster impacting every county |
| 10 | | exists under Section 7, all local health departments shall |
| 11 | | report to and be directed by the Department of Public Health.
