| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The State of Illinois Recreational Use of |
| 5 | | Leased Land Act is amended by changing Section 1 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 1. Short title; purpose. This Act may be cited as the
|
| 8 | | the
State of Illinois Recreational Use of Leased Land Act. |
| 9 | | The purpose of this Act is to encourage owners of land |
| 10 | | through nominal leases to the State of Illinois Department of |
| 11 | | Natural Resources to make land and water areas available to |
| 12 | | members of the general public for recreational uses by |
| 13 | | limiting their liability toward persons entering thereon for |
| 14 | | such uses.
