| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Joseph A. Karijolich of Cary, who passed | 4 | | away on February 29, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Karijolich was born in Yugoslavia to Joseph | 6 | | and Ivka Karijolich on March 19, 1930; he married Barbara A. | 7 | | Staehle in Chicago on May 12, 1951 and served in the military | 8 | | during the Korean War; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Karijolich was a member of the Crystal Lake | 10 | | Veterans of Foreign Wars; he was active at St. Barnabas | 11 | | Lutheran Church, where he volunteered with the Meals on Wheels | 12 | | program and the Cary Food Pantry; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Karijolich is survived by his wife, | 14 | | Barbara; his children, Karen (Bill) Osmanski, Mike (Laurel) | 15 | | Karijolich, and Tom (Denise) Karijolich; his grandchildren, | 16 | | Will, Kevin, Alison (Frank), John (Katie), Rachel, Ryan | 17 | | (Carla), and Steven (Maki); his great-grandchildren, Rose and | 18 | | Lydia; and his sister, Rosemary Miller-Sarich; therefore, be it
