| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Debra Regena Brown, who passed away on | 4 | | September 9, 2013; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Debra Brown was born on July 13, 1950 in Chicago; | 6 | | her parents were Eddie Brown Sr. and Pearleatha Fontella Buck; | 7 | | and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Debra Brown received her high school diploma from | 9 | | Saint Mary's High School in Chicago in 1968; she later | 10 | | completed a year of college training at Triton College in River | 11 | | Grove; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Debra Brown was an employee of the United States | 13 | | Postal Service for over 17 years; she continued her employment | 14 | | at Major Jenkins SRO Facility, where she worked until her | 15 | | retirement; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Debra Brown was a member of Uptown Baptist Church; | 17 | | and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Debra Brown was preceded in death by her mother; | 19 | | her daughter, Natasha Latrice Brown; her brothers, Norbert | 20 | | Brown, Esley Coleman, and Eddie Brown Jr.; and her |
