SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Stan Hoselton of Lexington; and

WHEREAS, Stan Hoselton was a 16-year McLean County Board member; he represented District 1 in northeast McClean County and was the Chairman of the McLean County Board's Transportation Committee; and

WHEREAS, Stan Hoselton served as Mayor of Chenoa from 1983 to 1995 and was part of a group that helped establish the Chenoa swimming pool; he was past-President of the McLean County Mayors Association; and

WHEREAS, Stan Hoselton and his brothers, Ted and Ray, owned and operated Union Roofing for many years; and

WHEREAS, Stan Hoselton was an outstanding public servant and genuine person; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Stan Hoselton, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Stan Hoselton as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
