1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 887
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 887, AS AMENDED, by
3 replacing the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT in relation to government."; and
5 by inserting immediately above the effective date clause the
6 following:
7 "Section 95. The Circuit Courts Act is amended by adding
8 Section 2f-1 as follows:
9 (705 ILCS 35/2f-1 new)
10 Sec. 2f-1. Additional judgeship. In addition to the
11 number of circuit judges otherwise authorized by this Act,
12 there shall be one additional circuit judge elected from the
13 second subcircuit of Cook County.".
