1 AN ACT to amend the Limited Liability Company Act by
2 changing Section 55-1.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Limited Liability Company Act is amended
6 by changing Section 55-1 as follows:
7 (805 ILCS 180/55-1)
8 Sec. 55-1. Construction and application. This Act shall
9 be so applied and construed to effectuate its general
10 purpose.
