Makes appropriations from the General Revenue Fund and
the Education Assistance Fund to the State Universities Civil
Service System to meet its ordinary and contingent expenses
for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998. Effective July 1,

1 AN ACT making appropriations for the ordinary and
2 contingent expenses of the State Universities Civil Service
3 System.
4 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
5 represented in the General Assembly:
6 Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much
7 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
8 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
9 General Revenue Fund to the State Universities Civil Service
10 System to meet its ordinary and contingent expenses for the
11 fiscal year ending June 30, 1998:
12 For Personal Services........................... $750,100
13 For Social Security............................. 3,225
14 For Contractual Services........................ 245,600
15 For Travel...................................... 5,930
16 For Commodities................................. 6,500
17 For Printing.................................... 7,150
18 For Equipment................................... 58,895
19 For Telecommunications Services................. 20,300
20 For Operation of Automotive Equipment........... 2,300
21 Total $1,100,000
22 Section 10. The following named amounts, or so much
23 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
24 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
25 Education Assistance Fund to the State Universities Civil
26 Service System to meets its ordinary and contingent expenses
27 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998:
