Appropriates $500,000 to the Illinois Community College

1 AN ACT making an appropriation to the Illinois Community
2 College Board.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The sum of $500,000, or so much of that
6 amount as is necessary, is appropriated to the Illinois
7 Community College Board for a grant to Olive Harvey Community
8 College to operate a Probation Challenge Program that
9 provides vocational training and counseling to young,
10 first-time offenders.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
12 1, 1998.
