1 AN ACT to amend the Title Insurance Act by changing
2 Section 6.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Title Insurance Act is amended by
6 changing Section 6 as follows:
7 (215 ILCS 155/6) (from Ch. 73, par. 1406)
8 Sec. 6. Reinsurance. A title insurance company may
9 obtain reinsurance for all or any part of its liability under
10 one or more of its title insurance policies or reinsurance
11 agreements and may also reinsure title insurance policies
12 issued by other title insurance companies on risks located in
13 this State or elsewhere.
