1 AN ACT to amend the Health Maintenance Organization Act
2 by changing Section 4-11.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Health Maintenance Organization Act is
6 amended by changing Section 4-11 as follows:
7 (215 ILCS 125/4-11) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1409.4)
8 Sec. 4-11. A Any person who enrolls recipients of Public
9 Aid or Medicare in a health maintenance organization, either
10 personally or by mail, shall, on or after July 1, 1989, be
11 licensed as a limited insurance representative under Section
12 495.1 of the Illinois Insurance Code. No such person shall
13 be required to pass a written examination in order to qualify
14 to be licensed as a limited insurance representative under
15 this Section.
