1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3556
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3556 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 25 through 28 with the following:
4 "(a) A contractor doing work in a county or municipality
5 may obtain a unified license and permit bond. This unified
6 license and permit bond may be used by the contractor, at the
7 contractor's discretion, instead of any other license or
8 permit bond, or"; and
9 on page 2, by replacing lines 6 through 8 with the following:
10 "contractors in the county or any municipality within that
11 county where the contractor is doing work. The unified bond
12 required by this Act shall be filed with the county clerk.
13 At the time of filing, the county clerk may charge a
14 reasonable administration fee, determined by the county board
15 or board of county commissioners.".
