1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives were
3 saddened to learn of the death of Mr. Stanford Tucker of East
4 St. Louis, Illinois on March 23, 1997; and
5 WHEREAS, Stanford Tucker worked as a Supervisor for the
6 Department of Public Aid; and
7 WHEREAS, He was member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity,
8 a graduate of the University of Michigan, a trustee for
9 Metropolitan Community College, a Board member of the East
10 St. Louis Sanitary District, and Scout Master of Troop 428;
11 and
12 WHEREAS, Stanford Tucker is survived by his loving
13 children; sons Osiris and Camara and daughters Jennifer,
14 Crystall, Jessica, and Jelaqua; his brothers Walter and
15 Reginald Tucker; his parents Walter Lee and Flora Tucker; his
16 sisters JoAnn Wade, Sheila Lawrence, Darlene Tucker, and
17 Bernadette Tucker; as well as many friends; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
19 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
20 mourn the death of Stanford Tucker, and sympathize with his
21 family in this time of loss; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the family of Stanford Tucker of East St. Louis,
24 Illinois.
