1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to send their sincere condolences and
4 deepest sympathy to the family of Trooper Erin M. Hehl, who
5 passed away on October 30, 1997; and
6 WHEREAS, Trooper Erin M. Hehl was an eleven-year veteran
7 of the Illinois State Police who was assigned to the Air One
8 unit; Trooper Hehl had been with the State Police helicopter
9 program since its creation on January 1, 1995; she had logged
10 450 missions as an observer with 370 total hours of time; she
11 also had approximately seventy hours of flight time as a
12 pilot; and
13 WHEREAS, Trooper Hehl is survived by her loving husband
14 Robert, a Chicago police officer, her son Brendon, and her
15 step-son Michael; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
18 mourn, along with her family and friends, the death of
19 Trooper Erin M. Hehl of the Illinois State Police; and be it
20 further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to the family of Trooper Erin M. Hehl.
