1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate James M. Emerson on his
4 retirement from the City of Park Ridge Fire Department; and
5 WHEREAS, James M. Emerson began his career as a
6 firefighter on January 16, 1970; he went from a
7 firefighter/paramedic to a lieutenant, then commander, then
8 captain, and finally shift commander; and
9 WHEREAS, James M. Emerson helped in the establishment of
10 the emergency medical operation of the fire department; Mr.
11 Emerson holds numerous certifications from the State of
12 Illinois; he has proven himself to be a hard worker and
13 dedicated to the community; and
14 WHEREAS, James M. Emerson is married to Linda Emerson;
15 they have two sons, James, Jr., and Robert Anthony; and one
16 daughter, Robin Dean Ryan; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 congratulate James M. Emerson on a job well done and wish him
20 continued success in his future; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to James M. Emerson.
