1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate the Chatham Glenwood
4 High School Football Team, the Redskins, on winning the Class
5 4A State Football Championship on November 28, 1998; and
6 WHEREAS, The team players are: Ken Boyle, Blake Harting,
7 Kevin Ladage, Skip Clayton, Bill Clayton, Terry Parnell,
8 Kevin Butcher, Matt Parr, Cam Kiersch, Dustin Patterson,
9 Griff Jurgens, T.J. Rath, Mike Pierce, Zach Murphy, Caylan
10 Hill, Jerod Bruner, Tim Brinkman, Vince Peters, Mike Taylor,
11 Marshal Pierce, Tom Deen, Chris Ross, Mike Moriconi, Alex
12 Pence, Jeremy Lynch, Zac Crawford, A.J. Young, Matt Veach,
13 Charles Brunn, Adam Coombe, Mike Stegaman, Chad Coffman,
14 Brian Wilson, Josh Bridges, J.D. Evans, Bob Perkins, Kurt
15 Smith, Mike Thompson, Chris Nelson, Stephen Hill, Nick
16 Bearss, Keith Moomey, David Landers, Steve Hoppe, Andrew
17 Schlichting, Mike Drury, Mike Greco, Mouhammed Hasan, Jared
18 Cowgur, Ryan Daley, Brett Sanner, Robb Hoover, Mark Bryam,
19 Josh Crossland, Scott Sanders, Joe Smith, Brett Strab, Tony
20 Manuele, and Daric Gates; and
21 WHEREAS, The principal at Chatham Glenwood is Charles W.
22 Hoots; the Assistant Principal is Ronda Logan; the Athletic
23 Director is Brad Butcher; the Dean of Students and Head Coach
24 of the Redskins is Dan Rourke; the Assistant Coaches are
25 Steve Cox, Vondel Edgar, David Hay, Mike Janke, Mike McGiles,
26 and Len Onken; and
27 WHEREAS, The Redskins of Chatham Glenwood were undefeated
28 this football season; their win against Kankakee (McNamara)
29 on Saturday, November 28, 1998 put Chatham Glenwood into the
30 newspapers and gave them their State Championship; the City
31 of Chatham welcomed their team back with fanfare worthy of
32 the State Champions; therefore, be it

1 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
2 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
3 congratulate the Redskins of Chatham Glenwood High School on
4 winning the Class 4A State Championship; and be it further
5 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6 presented to Chatham Glenwood High School and the Redskins.
