Appropriates money to the Board of Trustees of Chicago
State University from the General Revenue Fund and the
Education Assistance Fund to meet the ordinary and contingent
expenses of the Board and the University. Effective July 1,
1998.

1 AN ACT regarding appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much
5 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
6 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
7 General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Chicago
8 State University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses
9 of the Board of Trustees and Chicago State University:
10 For Personal Services, including
11 payment to the University for
12 personal services costs incurred
13 during the fiscal year ......................... $34,026,400
14 For State Contributions to Social Security ..... 50,000
15 For Contractual Services ....................... 1,000,000
16 For Travel ..................................... 1,000
17 For Commodities ................................ 1,000
18 For Equipment and Library Books ................ 290,000
19 For Telecommunication Services ................. 460,000
20 For Operation of Automotive Equipment .......... 1,000
21 For Permanent Improvements ..................... 1,000
22 Total $35,830,400
23 Section 10. The following named amount, or so much
24 thereof as may be necessary, for the objects and purposes
25 hereinafter named, is appropriated from the Education
26 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Chicago State
27 University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of
28 the Board of Trustees and Chicago State University:
29 For Contractual Services ....................... $310,200
