1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The United States Constitution reserves certain
3 powers for the states; and
4 WHEREAS, Recently many have questioned whether current
5 programs and policies respect the Constitutional division of
6 federal and state powers; and therefore be it
7 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
8 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, That the Illinois State Senate
9 urges the United States Congress to respect the State's role
10 in the governmental process.
