1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3 express their sympathy to the family and friends of Larry L.
4 "Jake" Jacob, who passed away on May 1, 1998; and
5 WHEREAS, Larry Jacob was born in Springfield, Illinois on
6 September 23, 1936; his parents were Kent Elmo Jacob and
7 Elgin W. Kreppert; on April 3, 1993 he married Brenda Jo "BJ"
8 Seipel in Springfield; and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. Jacob was a lifelong resident of
10 Springfield, Illinois; he served as a vice president of First
11 National Bank of Central Illinois; he was a member of the
12 Third House, American Business Club, Illinois Society of
13 Association Executives, Jacksonville Country Club, Sangamo
14 Club, and Illinois Federation of Outdoor Resources; and
15 WHEREAS, Mr. Jacob was a graduate of Springfield High
16 School and Illinois College in Jacksonville; he was a member
17 of the Illinois College Alumni Club; and
18 WHEREAS, Mr. Jacob is survived by his wife, BJ; his
19 mother, Elgin Kreppert; his brother, Ken Jacob; his
20 half-sister, Jacque Jacob; and many nieces and nephews;
21 therefore, be it
22 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
23 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his
24 family and friends, the death of Larry Jacob of Springfield,
25 Illinois; may they find peace and solace in this time of
26 need; and be it further
27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
28 presented to the family of Larry Jacob, along with our
29 sincere condolences.
