   STROGER, JONES,LOU, NOVAK AND DAVIS,MONIQUE.

   320 ILCS 25/4             from Ch. 67 1/2, par. 404                         

        Amends the Senior Citizens  and  Disabled  Persons  Property  Tax      
   Relief  and  Pharmaceutical  Assistance  Act  to  increase the maximum      
   income for eligibility from $14,000  to  $16,000.  Provides  that  the      
   maximum grant for claimants with an income of $14,000 or more but less      
   than $16,000 is $70. Effective January 1, 1998.
