REITZ-NOVAK-MCAULIFFE. 20 ILCS 2610/12.2 new 30 ILCS 105/14 from Ch. 127, par. 150 Amends the State Police Act to provide for payment of the burial expenses (up to $10,000) of State police officers killed in the line of duty. Amends the State Finance Act to provide that these benefits shall be paid out of moneys appropriated for personal services of State police officers. Effective immediately. FISCAL NOTE (Ill. State Police) HB813 would cost an estimated $10,000 every 2 to 3 years.
