PARKER.

(ERWIN-ZICKUS)

        Creates the Cancer Clinical Trials Task Force to study  the  cost      
   of  cancer  treatment  using valid cancer clinical trials.  Requires a      
   report to the Governor and General Assembly by February 1, 1999.            
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
        Changes the reporting date to January 1, 1999, rather than Febru-      
   ary 1, 1999. Removes authority for the Task Force to accept gifts,          
   grants and other funds from any public or private source. Provides          
   that members of the Task Force shall serve without compensation, but        
   may be reimbursed for necessary expenses.
