Short description: 
SR CIT DISABLED RELIEF-INCOME                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Senior Citizens  and  Disabled  Persons  Property  Tax      
   Relief and Pharmaceutical Assistance Act.  Provides that, beginning in      
   1998,  the  grant  will be available to individuals 62 years of age or      
   older (now 65 years of age or older).  Increases the household  income      
   limit from $14,000 to $35,000.  Deletes statement providing that in no      
   event  may  a  grant under this Act exceed $700 less 4.5% of household      
   income for that year.  Provides that the household  income  limitation      
   for  the  grant  shall  be  subject to annual adjustments equal to the      
   percentage of increase in the previous  year  in  the  Consumer  Price      
   Index  for  All  Urban Consumers for all items published by the United      
   States Department of Labor.  Effective January 1, 1998.

        Provides that the household income level shall be increased  from      
   $14,000 to $30,000 (now increased from $14,000 to $35,000).
